Welcome to Pondhawk Natural Area home to hundreds of plant and animal species. This beautiful natural area is open to the public from sunrise to sunset for educational use and passive recreational activities such as hiking, nature photography, and bird watching.
This is a small camo'd container consisting of just a log & a FTF bottle cap at the moment, but there is room for geocoins, path tags, or very small trackables. Before entering the trail system, stop by the information board and pick up a trail guide. Stay on marked trails! Beware of snakes. (see picture) We were sad to see that the caches previously placed in this park had gone missing and the CO had decided to archive them. We wanted to place something here to keep people coming out to this beautiful area. Please use stealth when hunting and logging your find. Let's see if we can keep this one active.
