A nice little stroll along the track should bring you to the cache. You will have missed the ferry so a log to sign will be reward anyway.
Parking is just off the road as you round the head of the bay. The track can be driven on but care is needed in wet weather, however this means you will stop on the track at the cache location so parking area recommended.
Cache is a 200ml sistema with log book and pencil and room for small swaps only.
