Remember when you were a child,
Summers full of hamburgers, ice cream and apple pie.
One memory I have above all others is,
Bologna sandwiches from this market’s counter,
My dad and granddad brought me here when I was young,
And they’d buy me a sandwich,
What fun, what fun!
The place is closed now, as you can see,
But for me it still holds a childhood memory…..
