Geocache Description:

The Iron Ore Heritage Trail follows old railroad grades in Marquette County. When completed it will be a trail going from Republic Township in the West to Kawbawgam Road in Chocolay Township in the East - about 48 miles.

Heritage Trail 1 through Heritage Trail 24 are all film cans all hanging from tree branches that are about 5 feet off the trail. They start just West of the Border Grill “Our Favorite Place ”. It is uphill all the way but the ride back is awesome.
