Geocache Description:

A quick 'Cache and Dash' with a chance to enjoy views in both directions. To one side, Pittern Hill Windmill, to the other the views over the hilltop.

Sit down, and enjoy the shade. Slide your hands carefully and yet discretely over the back of the bench. No, no cache here.

Hang on! - the shade! - isn't that a multi-trunked tree? It must be there. No, no cache there either.

There must be some ivy somewhere! eVIL stuff that it is. No.

Oh we;;, you'll just have to look for the cache.

It's a traditional cache, not a nano, nor a micro. It'll have to be somewhere that can take it.

While you're here, enjoy the views. Around the corner, to the north is Pittern Hill Windmill. It's thought to be an eighteenth century construction, and lacks sails and other equipment. The brickwork and roof has been restored relatively recently.  To the south, from by the probably packing spot, views extend over the open landscape of Pittern Nill.

This cache is one of a small group entitled  Kineton to Combrook. They are not intended to be followed as a route, although one could be generated to fit them. Instead, they are intend to give a sample of the landscape on and around the high open area of Pittern Hill, that lies between the town on Kineton, and the pretty little village of Combroomk, where there are already other caches. So feel free to park up and enjoy the walk between these caches, or dash around, parking as close to each as you like - the choice is yours.
