How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A small series in honour of our great British wildlife. This route can be done as a circular walk and is about 2 &1/2 miles, you can also add in a couple of extra caches not far off this route in Streat and along by the racecourse. These cache descriptions were written by the young cachers in the family and are some of their favourite things to spot evidence of or see whilst geocaching. Some of our caches will require tweezers. Please replace all safely and securely.

WILDCAT

The wildcat is one of our rarest and most endangered mammals and the only wild member of the cat family in the UK. Wildcats are restricted to small parts of the Scottish Highlands where they feed on rabbits and ground nesting birds on moorland and in woodlands.
