It's a good cache to grab on your walk to the beach! 
It is a spinkles jar and is small. I do not have room for a pen in it. I will look into getting one small enough. Don't think bugs or tags would fit. 
But we wanted to challenge oursleves with different size caches and placements. This one is a new one for me. Saw the idea on pinterest and said I had to do one!!!! 
It is not on private property, but is infront of a home one the city part of the grass. Happy hunting! Please remember to place it in a hidden area..
