This spot is along Pass Creek Road. It's a little swimming hole used by the locals. You can park on the wide shoulder and make your way down to a cooler shaded area using an interesting iron stairway. The water comes up quite high in May and June but after it goes down, there's a bit of a sandy beach and an area of deeper fairly calm water to sink into.
Be aware that the parking is off the side of a curve in the road. You need to be travelling towards Castlegar to safely park near the cache. Be sure to park well off the pavement. No parking coordinates are provided because the cache hide is so near the road, seperated only by a drop in elevation.
