Desert TB Hotel Traditional Cache
Natuernut: Sadly we are forced to give up on finding a new spot here for a TB hotel. There has been too much landscaping done leaving everything within a quarter of a mile too flat and bare for any containers big enough to safely host TBs. We are reluctantly archiving this cache. We hope to place a new TB hotel in the general area soon.

This TB Hotel is hidden about 100 feet from the side of the road. The container is about the size of an empty coffee can and painted to blend in a little with its surroundings. I've started it off with three TBs waiting to be picked up and moved on their way by the next cacher.
It's best to park on the north side of the street next to the power pole.
I placed this TB Hotel here because this end of the Coachella Valley doesn't have any TB Hotels. There is an unofficial trail leading through the desert plants that takes you close to the cache. While you're here take a moment to enjoy the desert scenery. Please watch out for desert critters, especially snakes, while you are walking among the bushes.
The intersection to the west of this cache is where I turned north on my way to high school when I was a kid. I've always liked the stretch of road as you continue west on Avenue 60 (between Van Buren Street and Jackson Street), mostly because it was always so green on both sides. I'm glad geocaching has given me this chance to share some of my favorite places in the valley with others who may not have gotten the chance to see them without it.
