Capture the Flag! Traditional Cache

***** CAUTION, A BROWN SNAKE HAS BEEN SIGHTED IN THE AREA **** Capture the flag is a game played by Scouts all over the world. (and probably any groups that want a fun activity outdoors)

1st Eltham North Cubs - just over the river near the soccer and cricket fields play this game in this area.

The game involves dividing into two teams, each team has a flag. 

Each team has to then split up into defenders and attackers, the aim is to capture the other teams flag and get back to your flag before you are caught.

Defenders can only be more than 2 metres from their own flag, if one of the opposition teams attackers tries to get their flag you can tag them and they must then go to jail for a short period (usually where the leaders are standing)

Great exercise and perfect for getting out some of that excess energy that kids seem to have, the kids love it too, only one thing.... It must be played in the dark!

Cache is a 2 litre sistema painted to be harder to find, it is hidden in the area that one of our teams usually hides their flag!
