A quick Park and Grab, but take the time to look at these 2 armoured vehicles and many others on the base, especially at Tank Park (where Tank Park 3 is located). There are also many planes and jets on display around the base.
Please remember you will be on a military base so respect all laws and regulations, and by entering the base, you agree to allow your vehicle and possesions to be searched by the authorities.
In 1951 the Centurion Armoured Recovery Vehicle entered service with the Canadian Army 27th Brigade at Hannover, West Germany. The Centurion remained in service with the Canadian Forces until late 1977.
This Centurion was prepared for display by variouis NCOs and NCMs of RCEME in 1994.
