Uster wurde im Jahre 775 n.C. erstmals schriftlich erwähnt. Zum 1200 Jahr Feier wurde dieser Brunnen erstellt. Das Zeughaus wurde aus Angst vor einem Krieg und wegen der Wirtschaftsflaute 1937 gebaut.
