This cache is near the reservoir in Horizon View, a popular place to walk, run, or exercise dogs. It is said that before the trees got tall, there really was a clear view of much of the horizon. If you come on a clear day, you’ll be treated to a peek-a-boo view of the Olympic Mountains, and there is another view of downtown Seattle across the street. If you leave by going around the reservoir, you may see the Cascades at the first corner, then Mt. Baker after you pass the reservoir and park.
Inspired by the views, this cache is a pencil box with paper for your drawing inspirations. Please bring a pencil to swap and draw a picture to leave in the cache for those who find it after you! (The occupants of the nearby home, while not the cache owners, are aware of the cache.)
