Geocache Description:

The Central Oregon Coast is home to Yachats, Gem of the Oregon Coast with great walking, hiking, biking, scenic, and historical sites. Filling in a passport with 20 passwords from 26 possible caches will earn you the Yachats Geocoin , a beautiful coin designed by ThunderingRocks.

Right by the sea on a low lava rock bluff so there is no real beach. This should be fun spot to sit and watch! I would suggest that you try this close to high tide otherwise you will miss the whole point of the cache. You might find the following web site useful for finding out when high tide occurs. There is no adjustment needed for this reference to local tide tables. So sit down, relax, and enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean.

This is not wheelchair accessible. I have provided a hint as some of the log entries seem to have tried too aggressive an approach which could lead to becoming very wet!

If you are trying to complete the Scenic Yachats tour to earn the Yachats Geocoin make sure you record the password which for this cache it is the name on the plaque under the bench. The Passport can be viewed and printed at goyachats.com/Geocaching. See GC4FTEN for details.

You are looking for a bison tube.
