this cache is in honor of Ernest Tubb who is known for his "honky tonk" style his hit song "walking the floor over you ", (1941), marked the rise of honky tonk music .Tubb was born on February 9, 1914 in Crisp, Texas he is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame also he played in the area several times and i think he played at a "Honky tonk ", (as my papaw calls it ) within a few miles of the cache . some of the younger cachers may not know him , (im a younger cacher but im a big history buff ) any way the cache is an easy find parking is best done in the large shoulder near the cache , you Won't have to go in the woods. hope you enjoy this cache
