Geocache Description:

A walk around the Nature Station on the Woodlands Trail and a geocache, too! At the end of the Wherigo, you will be looking for a regular-sized lock-n-lock containing a logbook, pen, and swag.

Take a walk in the woods to Honker Lake. Enjoy the sights and sounds along the trail as you learn about plants, animals, and history at LBL. The natural and cultural resources of this region have changed considerablu since Native-American hunting parties stalked wild game and later early settlers like Mose McWataers fell trees to build cabins. Watch for evidence from the past along the trails.  After completing all eleven stops, you will be given the coordinated for a geocache.

This is a Wherigo cache so you need to visit the Wherigo website to download the cartridge HERE.  You will start at the Woodland Walk/Honk Trailhead near LBL's Nature Station. Parking is available and restroon facilities are also near.

Please be aware, some Pocket PC PDAs may fail to run Wherigo properly due to a known issue with VGA (640x480) resolution screens. Models affected include the Loox 720. Experiment with the Wherigo tutorial cartridge before attempting to find this (and other wherigos) cache if you've not tried to do a Wherigo with your hardware before.
