Geocache Description:

These are my bones,
Here is where I lay.
You can hear me howl
With the wolves & coyotes
Screeching my tale of woe
On every full moon.

This cache is located in Jardine and is said to be alone in having “Welcome” at the gate. The cache is easy to reach by car although during the winter it may be difficult. The road is narrow and parking is limited. Approximately ¼ mile ahead from the CZ is an easy area to turn around.  The cache is an easy walk from the road.

Nearby the cache location is what appears to be a petrified tree although it isn’t. Take a stroll and visit the area for a little history.

On the return drive from the cache, you’ll have a beautiful view of the Gallatin Mountains and Gallatin National Forest area. In the far distance, you can see Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces.

The container only contains a log sheet so you will need to bring your own scribble stick. Please do not remove the container from the camo – be gentle and replace the cache as found.

Enjoy!
