Well we are heading your way again. This time we will be staying in Williamsburg, and with the advice you gave us last year, we decided to do our event more central to everyone -- in Newport News. August as most of you know is a challenge month in which you try to get a cache for every day of the month. Well this event is two-fold: 1.) We want to meet everyone again, and 2) give everyone an easy smiley while enjoying each other's company. barb111 and cheffox44 will be coming with us this year, and I know based on our warm reception last year that you guys will make them feel welcome. Here is the "when, where, what":
When: August 8 @ 6:00pm
Where: Red Robin; 1230 Jefferson Ave. Newport News, Virginia 23602 (not sure about the coords, but hopefully they will get you there)
What: Get together with everyone again, and have some fun while enjoying a good burger.
We hope to be able to see everyone again, and maybe even meet some new friends. We will have been caching for 3 years on August 13th, and one of the great things we enjoy about geocaching is meeting great people along the way. If you can make it, it would be great to meet you, and swap stories and tales. Hopefully, we will see everyone there soon.
