Kiddie Kache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

CONGRATULATIONS TO BLINDBUTNOWISEE FOR FTF!

Enjoy a day at the park and a Cache.

This mine site was located in 1855 by Peter Cameron, A.M. Wood, Will Powell and C.G. Lake. Lightner Mining Company organized and operated from 1896-1915. A 40 stamp mill crushed 500,000 tons of ore from vein which widened to 120’. Ore stopped at 700’ and cave in occurred. A new 900’ shaft failed to locate vein. Total production from the mine was $6,000,000.

Cache is a plastic 'ammo' box hidden by nature. Please place cache back the way you found it and hide it up with some nature. At the placement of the cache it contained many brand new toys for the kids so lets try and keep it clean. It's been a long time since i've been up here, am dissapointed at the condition. Lets practice a little Cache-In Trash-Out and see if we can clean it up a bit. Good luck and Happy Kaching!
