This replaces the old multi, Town Basin Wakabout When it was 1st published there were only about 20ish caches in the entire Whangarei region! Re-publishing as a traditional (and a pesky nano) due to mugglings & now there are plenty of other caches to encourage you to stroll around the Town Basin. You can make this a quick walk & grab or enjoy a longer walkabout ...
...... with plenty of features to distract you along the way; many artworks among the new landscaping, the Historic Reyburn House with The Northland Art Society's gallery inside, a playground for the kids, The Quayside Info Centre & clock museum, several other studios & galleries, cafes & restaurants & the quaint Marina office building; Plus the everchanging scene of fishing boats,launches and local & international yachts to view... and of course quite a few caches along the way now! 
The cache is along a paved pathway that skirts a nice big grassy, dog friendly area.
