High Trestle Bridge Wherigo Cache

Before you is stretched the High Trestle Trail Bridge.  Originally built as a train trestle over the Des Moines River in 1973 the bridge was removed from service in the mid-80s.  In 2004 the Union Pacific RR removed the spans and moved them north to reuse them for the Kate Shelly High Bridge.  The new spans were in place and open for business in 2010.
