Geocache Description:

Our 5 year old made this cache - with the help of mum and dad of course – but it’s definitely got his stamp on it. It’s hidden in a little known reserve - not too much there - but there's a great view across the Rangataua harbour to Mangatawa hill. Just across the motorway from Miriana reserve is Maungatapu marae, and Opopoti Kohanga reo – where Paki went to kohanga.  

The cache is hidden on a small WALKWAY between the reserve and the motorway. The reserve is in full view of muggle houses, but hopefully the trees of the walkway will give enough cover. BE VERY CAREFUL, especially with children, as the walkway opens straight on to the busy motorway. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside the container, so no room for anything else but the log.

Entry to Miriana Reserve is on Miriana St. Please do not attempt to access the cache site from the motorway side! The reserve is not sign posted, however it is a reserve, not private property. Follow the grass down. Happy caching!
