Geocache Description:

We named this cache after a bridge in our home state of Rhode Island.  This cache will bring you to the Robbins-Holton Mill & House.  Take a moment to read the history of the mill.

Congrats to CacheCredit for the FTF!!!

The Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge spans the West Passage of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. Even though the bridge was renamed it is still most often referred to as the Jamestown Bridge. The bridge links the towns of North Kingstown and the island town of Jamestown. There is no high school on the island so each day the students cross this bridge to attend No Kingstown High. The original Jamestown Bridge was closed to vehicular traffic on October 8, 1992, and its main span was destroyed through a controlled demolition on April 18, 2006 (check out the pictures.) If you get to visit RI, take a trip over the bridge and stop for a visit.
