Sullivan Memorial Park Traditional Cache

A nice place to stop most any day, this grassy park begs for your attention. Peruse the names on the war memorial wall for the soldiers from Sullivan who fought in the First and Second World Wars, as well as Vietnam. You can walk over the little white bridge to check out Sullivan's granite sculpture (placed in 2007 by the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium by artist Jo Kley from Germany), or enjoy the view from the gazebo. Enjoy this cache.

This cache is located at the site of Sullivan's memorial site, as well as the town grounds for the annual Sullivan Daze festival (first Saturday in August- you should go sometime!). The park is well-maintained and an excellent place for a picnic, running around/playing, or taking pictures. It gets surprisingly little use, but with this cache there will at least be a little more visiting.

The cache is a micro camo container, push down and twist the lid. Bring your own pen for signing! Room for small treasures. Some in there to get it going. You'll walk across the park, and go behind the Memorial Wall, it has two cedar trees on either side.

This is accessible year-round.
