Piper123&Snoopy&Sal: We have had a good run with this one, from the carved out mini log in the beggining, to many bison tubes , to just a ziplock bag with some magnets on at historic sign. The muggles have won.

Cache is located near Delamont Park.
Close by is the historic "Arbutus Grocery' building, built in 1907 by Thomas Frazer who also lived next door. There are also Victorian houses along West 7th Ave and Arbutus. Nearby along 4th Ave was the "Hippie " ground zero in the 1960's and 1970s. Further along 4th Ave , the Russian Community Centre was a Poetry and music venue in the 1960's. Unlike today the owners of the cafe that occupied Arbutus and 4th were quite bold with a sign in the front window indicating their "dislike of Hippies and Beatnicks".
Have a stroll throught the neighbourhood before more of the old buildings are torn down.
