Back in April, I did EMSDanel's Herman Drive In cache. The cache was located about .3 of a mile down a snowmobile trail. The walk down the trail was really nice. The trail was wide, clearly marked and, most importantly, it wasn't wet. I thought that there was room along this trail to place a few more caches before you got to the Herman Drive In (HDI) cache so I took a few waypoints on my way out. I finally had time today to get back to the trail and put my caches out. Though Dan ended up archiving his cache, it's still a nice walk in the woods.
Note: In the Spring and Summer, you'll want to really douse yourself with bug spray as the mosquitoes and deer flies are really, really bad here. I sprayed on heavy duty bug spray at the car and again on the trail and it kept those little buggers at bay. They still buzzed all around me but they didn't land or bite. In the Winter, if there's any snow, there's no place to park with the snowbanks at the side of the road.
Congrats to Autism/SoccerFam on your 3rd ftf. You earned it if you went that far down the trail without bug spray!
