LaffN by the River Traditional Cache

This is a log-only cache, just off of parking lot of the boat ramp for the river.  From this parking lot, you can get a beautiful view of the fork in the river, and enjoy a peaceful setting while sharpening your geocaching skills.  You are looking for a camoed container a bit larger than a film can.

Please replace tightly when you finish signing. 

This is an area that can be inaccessible when the river is high, to the point that the nearby restaurant is actually up on stilts to keep it above flood level.  Stories are told that the restaurant used to be a bar, and that patrons were sometimes ferried from high ground over to the bar when the road was underwater.  

Also, when you are at the cache site, look towards the restaurant: there is a beautiful silvery dead tree standing tall between the restaurant and the river.  I would have loved to put a cache at that tree, but the location was a bit too visible to muggles, so I opted for this spot by the parking lot with a nice view.
