Geocache Description:

A micro cache placed close to a memorial to the airmen who died in January 1941 when their Hudson Mk1 aircaft crashed on nearby moorland.

Vehicular access is possible along a single track public road with passing places. This road ends at Baysdale Abbey Farm and you will need to return the way you came. There is parking for one vehicle very near the cache site, but consideration for other road users is required, plus you need to be aware of ditches and hidden boulders. Other parking possibilities are available a short distance away. Easily accessible to walkers doing the Cleveland Way. Dogs must be kept on a lead as there may be sheep about. Pen/pencil required. The cache is in the wall, but no need to move any stones. Please replace carefully and report any DNFs.

Please note that it is uphill all the way from the village of Kildale to the cache site (a climb of about 500ft (160m)) should you decide to walk!
