Geocache Description:

Nineteenth cache in the NMS (No Micros Series). The Lansing area has seen an explosion of micros & nanos. While tiny caches are okay for number runs, there are only so many light poles & pay phones you can stop at before you long for a cache in the woods. If you have children, those tiny caches are not the way to get them & keep them enthused about geocaching. I decided it was time to do something about this. Hence, the NMS was born. Every cache in this series is a small or larger.

This former golf course is now the property of Delta Township (in highschool I golfed here many times). Although the township has yet to decide what to do with the property, it is currently accessible as an undeveloped park. In the summer there is (usually) a mowed path. In the winter visitors sometimes cross-country ski or snowshoe when the conditions are right. The area provides good habitat and wildlife is abundant.

We hid this cache at the location of the second cache we ever found (Players Club GC1FTWC), which was archived earlier this year. It's hidden just a few feet from where that hide was. There's a small prize inside for first to find. There's also a travel bug that I found down in Atlanta, GA and brought back to Michigan with me. Those familar with local sports figures will understand why. If you happen to pick it up, please make sure it moves safely to another cache.

The cache is a small lock and lock that has been painted brown. It's been well hidden, but should be easy enough to locate.  Please rehide as good or better than found. There's plenty of cammo available to hide it with.

Congratulations to Firefightercw on the FTF!
