My wife and her friend are going to swim the length of Lough Ramour which is about 7Km long , and in honour of this huge swim I have set up a cache on one of the islands they must go around. Hopefully they won't feel a need to land on any of these islands or inhabit them, as Robinson Crusoe did.
If you choose to swim then you face an approx 700 swim to the island !!!
This is but 1/10 of what these ladys plan on doing....but if you decide to come back then you'll have swam a 1/5 of the distance!!!
Hence why I'd recommend a kayak or boat!! (this is what I used,)
