TinySuperman: Sadly, a muggle named Fred watched a woman search for this cache and then decided to move the container to "make it harder for people to find." Since Fred is a regular at this location, and will likely continue to interfere, I have decided to archive this cache. Please people, if a cache calls for stealth, especially an urban hide, than please do not conduct your search while muggles are watching!

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful (and under appreciated) sights in Easthampton... Watch for muggles! BYOP!

Nashawannuck Pond, "Nash Pond", "The Bottle", or the center of WhoVille . . . whatever you want to call it, Nashawannuck Pond is unique: a jewel and much loved landmark that connects and binds the community of Easthampton, Massachusetts.

Nashawannuck Pond is bordered on the north by the planned and preserved open space of Nonotuck Park, its center being in the thriving downtown business and arts district, extending over an historic dam, past One Cottage Street Studios mill building, along the Manhan Rail Trail and on toward Millside Park. The pond ends appropriately at the historic mill district. This group of former industrial mills, including the transformed Eastworks and Paragon Arts buildings, are examples of how Easthampton has embraced its past while continuing its renaissance as an arts and business community.

Nowhere in Western Mass is there a more photogenic skyline than is captured from Nashawannuck Pond with Mount Tom as its backdrop.
