This overgrown trail used to be the route used to access the television transmission tower that offered the Barriere Lakes area residents as many as three television channels: BCTV; CFJC; and, KNOW.  While in use the tower was maintained by a local Barriere resident that volunteered his efforts year round.  For the ambitious, a view of the valley and the remains of the old tower can be seen by continuing up the unmaintained trail.  Please replace the cache as found.
