EARN YOUR STRIPES!
This series is not for the faint of heart. If you fear poisonous plants, poisonous reptiles, and potentially perilous terrain, STAY AWAY! With the singular exception of "Earn Your Stripes #1, all caches in this series may require close proximity to poison ivy, cotton mouths, chest-high thorn thickets, dropoffs over water, and other potential danger. Though they were placed in July, you might be smarter to wait until the middle of winter to search for them. In fact, you might be smarter to avoid them altogether. I've tried to make the terrain setting reflective of what you'll encounter at each stage, in case you want to skip one or two (or all thirty).
Find "Earn Your Stripes #1 and you'll know what to look for at all other stages. The cache containers are identical. The placement, though, is not: some of them are tucked away into natural hidey-holes, some are hanging from trees--just enough variety to keep you guessing (and keep you busy, so pack a lunch!).
If you get all of the caches in this series, you will most definitely have earned your geocacher stripes!
