Geocache Description:

A Cache situated on the public footpath which runs from Garmelow/Park Lane to Woodseaves. Some good views are to be had from various points on the walk, mostly to the north across the Tunstall valley, although further along towards Woodseaves, some views to High Offley in the west open up.

Park Hall itself is a farm house, and one of the oldest buildings for miles around. I'm not sure exactly when it was built, but I found a drawing online from 1838. I don't think it was overly new then, either. It has some personal significance for me too - my mum grew up there, and it is still run by relatives of mine.

Near to this point, the public footpath passes over the track which leads up to Park Hall from Park Lane. Please note that the track is a private road, and use the public footpaths as marked on the map.
