On the R329 from Baroe and Wolwefontein one passes through the Noorspoort, a narrow gorge. This part has been colourfully adorned with flags that have had a historical impact on Steytlerville. The flags were painted by a nearby farmer pre 1994 and updated after South Africa received its new flag.
The flags are now joined by a cache - hidden safely, please be safe when climbing to retreive it from its little rock spot.
