Gnome Friends 2 Traditional Cache

Gnomes have many friends. Gnome Friends 2 is a family friendly cache inviting you to walk the beautiful shaded trails of Haugh Family Preserve  that are outside of but adjacent to Circleville Park . (Alas Gnome Friends 1 and Gnome Sweet Gnome had to be archived because of muggles.)

The cache is near established trails--you do not need to bushwhack. The cache is placed with permission of Patton Township.

Gnome Friends 2 is intended to be easy to find so you can spend more time admiring the nearby trees. You're looking for a small camouflaged round plastic container set in an obvious pickle pile along a fallen tree about 4 feet from the trail. The container is covered by several small branches. The log itself is a micro. Please bring a pen or pencil.

For a longer walk, you can also visit the three Land of the Lorax: Pine Forest 1, 2 and 3 caches in this same wooded area.

All four caches may be done in less than one hour and all are near established trails.

Please note that parking in Circleville Park is only permitted from dawn to dusk. If you are doing these caches outside those hours, please park at the parking lot for Patton Woods off of Circleville Road and do the Pine Forest series on your way. The parking coordinates for Patton Woods are given at Land of the Lorax: Pine Forest 1 (GC4HE8Y).

(Though my husband, JBT, knows nothing about this cache, I have asked him to be disqualified from the FTF lest anyone think he had advance knowledge.)
