Exploring abandoned comunist architecture on a beautifull location over the origin of the river Plitvica can leave you with a lot to think about.

 The former Yougoslav goverment and army arhitecture in region is at best said forgotten. The decaying villa had some hope to stay maintainend after war. The NP workers have kept an eye for a long time after the war but at some point gave up. Looters soon found a great oportunity and the result is a monumental building with great potential decaying fast.

The vila was built in early 50’s for former president of SFRY Josip Broz Tito by political prisioners. The presidential appartament situated on the NE part with a view to radio relay station and radar facility on Gola Pljesivica is said to host the president only couple of times.
