Our sleepy dragon landed here then lumbered along the trail to the east. He tried the first bench but it was far to over grown. He continued drowsily along to find the second bench but he was too large to be comfortable upon it. He managed but ten steps farther to the east before he lay down below the pine and curled up for a slumber.
This cache is hidden in Franklin Park along the perimeter trail. This trail is about 3.5 miles long. There is limited access to the trail without bushwhacking so be prepared for a bit of a hike and plan accordingly.
While the trail is mowed and well maintained the areas off trail have lots of vegetation including plants with thorns as well as poison ivy. While caches were not placed directly in poison ivy at the time, plants do grow and you may follow your gps arrow in a different direction so plan accordingly and be aware of your surroundings.
The park is open dawn to dusk seven days a week. Absolutely no night caching.
This cache was placed in coordination with the NOVAGO Sweltering Summer Soiree in August 2013.
