Geocache Description:

A strange machine on the corner - what is it's purpose? Perhaps the cache holds the key!

This cache is near the Granada Building. Built during the Roaring 20’s, the Granada theatre is Santa Barbara’s first – and only – eight story building. It survived the 1925 earthquake that resulted in Santa Barbara being rebuilt in the Spanish red tile roof style you see today. Completely restored in 2008 in its original Art Deco style, the Granda has hosted Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Al Jolson, Will Rogers and Neal Degrasse Tyson to name but a few.

The cache is a small metal container with mysterious symbols on the outside. What does it hold in store for you?

FTF gets a Granda Theatre pin!
