Whether called M-Hill, Cowboy Hill, Chuck Lien Family Park or Hanson-Larsen Memorial Park, they all more or less refer to the same area. Funds for this park came from a gift from Edna "Eddie" Larsen, and is named in honor of her parents; Ed Larsen and Etta Hanson-Larsen. This park consists of 300 acres of green space, including many miles of biking, hiking, running, and of course geocaching, trails. At the time this cache was listed there were another dozen caches in and next to the park.
Views along the trail to this cache include The Gap, Harney Peak, the west side commercial/industrial district and Interstate 90.
The space between this hill and Dinosaur Park to the south is called "The Gap". Main Street and Omaha Street are the main arteries that carry traffic through the gap between East and West Rapid City.
