This cache is placed a short ways up the 1.5 mile Eagle Trail Overlook at the first rest spot. I highly recommend making the full hike to the overlook if time permits. It's not a super difficult hike, but it is fun, and it does offer quite an amazing view as well as access to another cache that I placed at the summit!
Parking for this cache is available at the Eagle Trail Campground. Begin by first treking a short ways down the Nature Trail until you see the sign noting the Overlook trail and a set of black stairs marking the trailhead. Begin the ascent on the Overlook trail and enjoy the hike and view. I strongly recomend bringing mosquito repelant and a bear deterant. My daughter and I placed this cache after a great afternoon picknic with the family at the nearby Clearwater Creek.
