A nice hike to an old forgotten cemetery in the Hardscrabble portion of Chesterfield
The cache is located just outside the boundaries of Latham-Beal Cemetery. According to the Find A Grave website, there are 24 listed names with dates ranging from 1790 to 1885 in this cemetery. Parking is on Stone's Mill Rd which is off from Old Swanzey Rd in Chesterfield. Park at the gate for Pisgah State Park. The cache is a green waterproof match container.
