The cache is just steps off the trail leading to Beal's Cemetery. After departing from the cache site, Molly our dog, stopped dead in her tracks....luckily. Not too far up the trail were 2 porcupines, a Momma and a little one. Momma meandered off the trail and climbed up a tree. The youngster, not so much. He or she, hung out in the trail and took his or her time to walk off the trail. We managed to get by, and as soon as we did, the little Delinquent was right back in the trail. I bet Mother Porcupine was not happy with her child, and probably grounded the little one!!
