Groundspeak 31 Days of Geocaching Challenge #1, or really, # whatever........missed the first day, but it will work for any day of August!
I'm adding some hides for our local cachers, so we can participate in the August 1 Kickoff of 31 Days of Geocaching!!!!! What will you remember from August 2013: fixing the squeaky refrigerator or maybe splashing a fresh coast of lavendar paint in the kid’s bedroom? Make August memorable by accepting the 31 Days of Geocaching challenge. Find a geocache each day of the month and earn a calendar-style Geocaching souvenir. Collect them all or pick and choose the souvenirs you’d like to earn. There’s a bicycle, a tent and even a hot air balloon up for grabs. Or decide to collect your favorite colors.

Check out the 31 Days of Geocaching calendar showing each day. You can download a PDF and print the calendar at home (or your office – don’t tell anyone) to keep track of your adventure. To earn one of the souvenirs for your Geocaching Profile simply log a “Found it” or an “Attended” for each day of the month. You’ll earn the corresponding souvenir from the calendar.
You won’t be alone in your 31 Days of Geocaching. The staff from Geocaching HQ will be attempting the 31 Days of Geocaching challenge right alongside you. Follow along with the Geocaching HQ staff on the The Geocaching Blog, and join the discussion on the 31 Days of Geocaching event page on Facebook.
