This cache has been archived.

4SwansT: Checked on this today and it was missing again. Found a new spot nearby, but since this cache is so old we are going to archive this page and relist it as a new hide so some people can return to the park again.

Geocache Description:

A micro cache hidden at a new waterfront park in Dighton. Please bring your own pen to sign the log with.

Tricentennial Park Sign This new park is the result of an Eagle Scout project by Dighton resident Brandon Shileikis. We have the privilege of knowing this young man and his family through our church's religious ed program. He has created a peaceful retreat in a little known area that we know everyone will enjoy. Don't rush through. Take a few minutes to enjoy the view and appreciate all the hard work that went into this project. There is still a bit more for him to do to complete the park and we will add a link to the newspaper article once his project has been approved by the Scouts. But this is a great time of year to enjoy this area so we didn't want to wait to bring people here.
