How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Nano with only a log, so BYOP! You`ll also need a thin device or tweezers to get the log out! There is no need to go near any fences! Depending on what time you search for this cache there could be a lot of traffic so please use stealth when you make the grab and the return! Please replace the container as found! Thank You!

Note : As of 7/31/13 the extention of the Bikeway has not yet been Officially Opened for use. See the Department of Transportation web site for information on the project and a map of the area!

This cache is located not far from the end of the new 8.2 mile extension of the Bethpage Bikeway. I made this a 2.5 Terrain rating to split the difference if you went by car it would be lower and if you biked the whole distance it would be higher. If you are traveling by car parking is available on Glenn Dr. which is a short walk to GZ. If you are on your bike there are many places to enter the Bikeway. Check the Waypoints for Free Parking! If you start your journey at the free parking on Sunrise Highway you can pick up many caches along the way. This would make the ride approximately 12,5 miles one way!... Have Fun!... Please Bike and Drive safely and use caution at all of the street crossings!
