Rollingergrund se trouve dans la partie nord-ouest de la ville de Luxembourg et il est le deuxième plus gros quartier après Cessange. À l'est, il confine au quartier de Mühlenbach et au sud-est à Limpertsberg qui est pris en étau par une partie du quartier.
Rollingergrund est un quartier très vert. Il est parsemé de nombreux espaces verts en raison de sa situation dans la vallée. De nombreux espaces verts sont disséminés par des coteaux. Le Bambësch, la forêt qui fait avant tout partie du patrimoine naturel, représente le taux le plus élevé d'espaces verts. Il confère en outre à Rollingergund une place importante dans la ville de Luxembourg, car il s'agit de la zone centrale de détente de proximité la plus étendue.
Rollingergrund est traversé par une route principale au bord de laquelle se trouve le principal habitat de la vallée. L'étirement en longueur détermine irréfutablement le tissu urbain du quartier.

Rollingergrund is located in the northwest part of the city of Luxembourg and it is the second largest district after Cessange. To the east, it borders the district of Mühlenbach and southeast Limpertsberg which is being squeezed by a part of the district.
Rollingergrund is a very green area. It is dotted with many parks because of its location in the valley. Many parks are scattered through the hills. The Bambësch, the forest is primarily part of the natural heritage, represents the highest level of green spaces. It also gives to Rollingergund an important place in the city of Luxembourg, as it is the central area of expansion of the wider vicinity.
Rollingergrund is crossed by a main road along which is the main habitat of the valley. The stretching length determines conclusively the urban fabric of the neighborhood.
