Signs of old age, Acton Bridge. Traditional Cache

The road here can be very busy at times, please drive and park sensibly. You could park right by the cache, but if you park opposite please take care crossing the road.
This is a simple drive-by cache that will not take long to find.

The old black and white signs of this type, can be seen in many an old movie showing roadside scenes, were usually cast iron, with raised lettering. Pre-war types also had small circular reflectors incorporated within their lettering.
This Cast iron milepost is on the B5153 between Acton Bridge and Weaverham.

The cache is a small plastic container, be careful you don't drop it in to the nettles.
Please bring something to sign the log.
