There's an interesting unmarked trail from this spot. I wondered what was so interesting back there, but didn't have time to go check it out. Maybe you'll be tempted to "explore and report". Hopefully you'll find a wondrous location or view and not some illegal "garden" or party spot. Looking at the satellite map, it might be an access point into the park from private property to the south-east, near the Cats restaurant.
Closest access is from Sheldon Road, but there's no parking at the end of the road. I think you'll have to park quite a bit further down.
