Croydon Cemetary Val13 Traditional Cache

Croydon Cemetery is the only cemetery in the Dunster area and is located on the Dunster-Croydon Road about 8 km east of "downtown" Dunster. The Dunster Community Association is responsible for the cemetery, and local residents maintain it. Burial sites are still available, the most recent burial was in 2014.

The cemetery has existed since at least 1932, when Aaron Watson was buried there. In the 1930s, a small Anglican church was built on the site and was consecrated on 12 June 1935. Unfortunately, the building is long gone. One local history, Yellowhead Pass and Its People, has a few pictures of the church and the cemetery.
